Partnerships

Toronto Metropolitan University International College engages in and fosters local and international partnerships that enables us to collaborate and contribute in a meaningful way to a larger global community. We are committed to attracting a broad student market by developing and providing access to higher education in Canada.

On this page, we list our partnerships and will be updated periodically as we grow.

Founded in 1998, TAIE International Institute (TAIE) is a prestigious international boarding high school in Toronto that provides the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), University Preparation Courses (UPC), and English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. TAIE is also the largest boarding high school in Toronto catering to a diverse group of international students. Our partnership provides a framework for developing a collaborative relationship between TAIE and TMUIC to facilitate and promote effective and seamless articulation opportunities for TAIE students at TMUIC .

Algoma University is a public teaching-oriented University with a particular focus on the needs of
northern Ontario and cultivating cross-cultural learning. It provides a range of liberal arts, sciences and professional programs at campuses in Sault Ste. Marie, Brampton and Timmins.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed to develop a collaborative relationship between Algoma and RUIC that would  facilitate and promote effective and seamless articulation opportunities for RUIC students at Algoma and to assist Algoma to realise its internationalisation objectives, thus promoting student mobility into areas of Ontario outside of the Greater Toronto Area.
